About Alex Holt

Alex is Vice Chair and Global Strategy Leader for Comms, Media and Technology at Accenture, a member of Accenture's Global Leadership Team, and serves on the Board of anti-poverty charity JobTrain. He recently had his first book "Outpacer" published globally by Penguin Random House, and was named one of the Top 25 Tech Consultants and Leaders for 2023.

A highly accomplished executive with over 20 years international experience, Alex joined Accenture in 2024, after spending 11 years as a Partner at KPMG where he previously served as Chief Operating Officer in the UK, Head of the UK Tech, Media & Telco Sector, before moving to Silicon Valley to run KPMG’s multi-billion dollar global TMT business with 26,000 KPMG professionals providing a full range of advisory, tax, and audit services. As well as leading the TMT sector globally, Alex was also the Global Lead Partner for Google.

Prior to KPMG Alex held executive positions in organizations across the technology, media and telecoms industries. Over a period of 15 years he led large teams covering Group Strategy, Investor Relations, Sales, Operations, and Product. Alex holds a Management degree from Leeds University. He is a Member of the Royal Television Society (RTS) and spent 2 years on the RTS Technology Committee.

Alex serves on the Board of the anti-poverty charity JobTrain. For 50 years JobTrain has transformed lives and communities in Silicon Valley. It helps the Valley’s most in need reclaim their lives from poverty and unemployment by preparing them for successful, sustainable careers in high-demand and emerging fields.
