About Sophie Turner

Sophie works with senior partners and leadership teams in professional firms. In particular she coaches those who seek inspiration and focus, and an opportunity to do some great thinking about the changes they need to make –in order to be an effective leader within turbulent business environment in which they work. Partners say that they find her approach to coaching energising and insightful and that they value the clarity, challenge and inspiration that Sophie offers.

Sophie is responsible for the Partner coaching programme at a global law firm, which she introduced in 2006 and which is now established and recognised by the board and partners globally.

Her own highly successful business background includes over 10 years as Head of Learning and Organisational Development for two global law firms

In her coaching role, Sophie combines her own extensive corporate background in strategy, change management and leadership development with intellectual rigour and emotional intelligence. . Sophie is particularly recognised for her energy and insightfulness in the development of senior individuals and teams and has been described as ‘a high energy, high impact, goal-orientated business coach’.

Sophie is an accredited Meyler Campbell business coach. She is also accredited as a Master Coach with the European Mentoring and Coaching Council (EMCC)™, as just one element of her continuing PhD in Business Coaching; She is a qualified Thinking Partner coach within Nancy Kline’s ‘Thinking Environment’® programme, and an elected board member for APECS (Association of Professional Executive coaches).
